It has been a big adventure for me to have worked with you all in our PAMET Texas Chapter, serving two terms as the President of our Association. Indeed, it was an amazing experience that has been chronicled in my memory journal and consider it a part of the fabulous “American Dream” as a Medical Technologist, myself. So, I take this privilege to thank you all in having your all-out support as your President for the past four years and a half, serving the Philippine Association of Medical Technologists, USA, INC., Texas Chapter. As the outgoing President of PAMET, I would urge you to support our new set of Officers for year 2018 and onward so that we can continue on the accomplishments that we have garnered during my term and to meet the basic professional needs of all Medical Technologists of our Association.

Furthermore, we can be in sync with the professional requirements, namely, competence, experience, excellence, professionalism, and proficiency. I am certain that you may agree with me that one of the goals in our profession is to be skilled in our line of expertise serving satisfactorily our patients and the Company we worked for. To this end in retrospect, I am indeed grateful to have served and thereby without any regrets. Because my working with you has challenged me to rise to any occasion and not be contented with mediocrity but to excellence. I say again, thank you for developing in me the leadership skills that made me more confident, more prepared, and well-trained in the field of Medical Technology, for which we all are called for. I wish the blessings and guidance of our Almighty God as we look forward with secured hopes amidst greater challenges. Certainly, we can do greater works “for in unity there is strength, divided we fall.”

Mabuhay to all and Congratulations to the new set of Officers!

On behalf of PAMET - USA, Inc., I happily extend to you all at PAMET - TX Chapter my greetings and congratulations on the occasion of your 25th Founding Anniversary and 13th Biennial Induction Ball at Hilton Houston Galleria on May 26, 2018. Kudos for a job well done to the outgoing officers led by Marilyn Opina. Welcome and best wishes for a productive administration to the incoming officers led by Lourdes Delgado.

I looked into the history of  PAMET - TX Chapter on your website pamettexas.org and read that you were founded as a chapter in 1993 with Concepcion Abadilla as your founding president. Since then you have always been active in the forefront of PAMET-USA activities. In fact, your chapter hosted the 6th Executive Board Meeting (EBM) in Houston on August 9-10, 1997 (21 years ago) under the presidency and leadership of Susan Heftie. The 12th BNC on an Alaskan Cruise on August 15-22, 2010 was held under the leadership of then National President Esther Madamba. In the 15th BNC held in Las Vegas on August 4-7, 2016 you won the Best Chapter Booth / Exhibition Award and the Best Female Mad Hatters Creation Award in the person of your incoming president, Lourdes Delgado. In the history of PAMET-USA your chapter is in the list of multi-awarded chapters.

We look forward to your presence and active participation again in the PAMET-USA national front. To this end, you are all invited to participate in our 16th Biennial National Convention and 30th Founding Anniversary Celebration at Hotel Elegante Convention and  Event Center, Colorado Springs, Colorado on August 2-5, 2018. The Convention will provide us an excellent forum to evaluate the critical changes, concerns and issues affecting the medical technology profession. It will also be a great opportunity for us to make new friends and rekindle the PAMET warm camaraderie that we always enjoy and treasure.

May God's divine protection and bountiful blessings continue to abide with us all. Till we meet again at Colorado Springs in August 2018.

It is my pleasure to welcome the Pamet Texas Members, delegates and guests to the 25th  Founding Anniversary and the 13th Biennial Induction. This occasion is a celebration to rekindle bonds of fellowship and support to each other and exchange perspectives and views on the current practices and emerging changes in the medical technology profession. Your chosen field is always the key to the alleviation, prevention of diseases and the preservation of the well being of all persons. Your devotion to your profession reflects the veracity and accuracy of the results of the diagnostic work up and we in the medical field appreciates your  inconspicuous participation but most helpful hand in the management of patients. In most occasions however, many including physicians, may not see how you come up with such result values but majority indeed appreciates your steadfast adherence to protocols,  logical correlation and the desire to ferret out the true values from the patients samples.

On this occasion, let me on the behalf of all patients and physicians take this opportunity to thank your noble devotion to aid physicians and patients in the appropriate diagnosis of treatment of diseases. May you all continue to strive to protect and maintain the integrity of your profession as are led by your current leaders and guided by your elders.

Congratulations to all.
